I agree. I don't take advice from anyone that isn't where I want to be. What do they have to offer? What experience do they have? Where did they get their knowledge/experience? Those are questions I ask myself before deciding whether to take their advice or just let it go in one ear and out the other!

When someone gives me advice I ask myself the following questions:

"Are you where I want to be?"
"Have you done what I'm trying to do"
'How qualified are you to advise me on this?

My husband has that, "Money will make me happy," attitude. I'm working with him through it, and he's getting better about things, but it makes life pretty miserable when you seek happiness with something external and fleeting like money!

Great video... While I totally agree, I think there are times where innately we can't help ourselves from thinking about money. I've been truly blessed in being able to open a practice that allows me to enjoy doing what I do everyday, which is stable. At the same time, I'm really wondering when it will be profitable enough to be able to help support the family so I can grow my family!
